LEAN POWER SOLUTIONS
Lean Power Solutions (LPS) is a Partner Solutions consultancy aligned with the energy transition toward greener electricity. With deep expertise in power system analysis, simulation, control, and specification development, LPS supports the transformation of electricity networks worldwide
We work closely with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), national utilities, and technology manufacturers, providing strategic support in areas such as RMS and EMT studies, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, converter and control development, and grid integration of renewable technologies. As the official representative of PSCAD and RTDS, LPS is uniquely positioned to deliver highly accurate and validated models for complex dynamic systems.

- Transmission System Operators (TSOs)
Transmission System Operators (TSOs): Conducting RMS and EMT studies, dynamic performance assessments, contingency analysis, protection coordination, oscillation assessments, HIL testing and grid code compliance studies. Providing customized troubleshooting and root cause analysis using EMT modeling and real-time testing environments. Supporting strategic planning with the development of technical specifications and operational scenarios.
- Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)
Developing EMT and RMS models of inverters, wind turbines, PV systems, BESS, STATCOMs, and HVDC converters. Supporting control and protection algorithm validation and model compliance with regional grid codes.
- Government and Regulatory Bodies
Supporting the development of grid codes and interconnection requirements, including modeling guidelines, simulation standards, and testing procedures. Preparing specification documents for large-scale infrastructure such as HVDC systems, STATCOMs, BESS, and electrolyzer-based hydrogen production facilities.
